Where do we start with this one! This gameweek was like no other, but it wasn’t what happened on the pitch that got people talking. The signing (or end of loan) of Ronaldo to Manchester United was the major news everyone around the league. What does this mean for everyone’s fantasy teams? I can see Cristiano being the most owned player in the history of the game. And with the dreaded FOMO how can we not get him in. First let’s see how the team did in gameweek 3.

Gameweek 3 Score: 60
There’s quite a few positives to take from Gameweek 3, we capitalised with captaining Salah and the two players transferred in both returned. Ings somehow managed to get another return and Shaw kept his first clean sheet of the season, although Wolves racked up an xG of 2.01. Wolves have got a lovely run of fixtures coming up, and eventually the football they are playing will pay off, maybe it’s time to get one or two of them in. Man City dismantled a lacklustre Arsenal team 5-0, with Ferran Torres playing up top again, making him a great fantasy option.
While the team is in a solid position, there are a LOT of transfers that can be done, including fitting in CR7. This brings me to the vote for this gameweek, as we head into the international break. Do we activate the Wildcard? Greenwood’s minutes may be affected and Bruno will be off all set pieces I’d imagine. Coufal is about to be playing Thursday and Sunday which will impact on West Ham’s form. The Wildcard basically comes down to wanting Ronaldo in the team or not, as it’s near impossible to get him in without taking hits, which we don’t want to be doing this early in the season.
