Another high scoring gameweek for some, and from what I can remember probably the highest scoring start to a Fantasy Premier League season so far. No major surprises again and the majority of the template players getting returns for their FPL managers. We’ll take a look at how the Undrafted team did and then a vote to see if there’s need for a transfer this week, heading into gameweek 3. Be sure to cast your vote at the end of the article to have your say on what transfers should be made, to get this team up the rankings.
Gameweek 2 Score: 55
Salah and Fernandes both not returning in a gameweek is almost unheard of, but luckily we had the captain armband on Salah which was the lesser of two evils. Danny Ings keeps on doing Danny Ings things, scoring a goal this time off an xG of 0.12 is exactly the reason he has a 8.0 price tag, he’s clinical. Ivan Toney is still yet to get off the mark but is passing the eye test with flying colours. Should he be the one getting the boot or do we give him one more week to see if he can grab a goal. Lukaku scored on his return to the Premier League against the worst looking Arsenal side for years, is it time to get big Rom in?
Spurs beat Wolves 1-0 with a penalty which was not taken by Son, although everyone thought he was guaranteed to take them. Son is a great player but for 10.0 and not on penalties there are better options, and opens up a number of avenues to go down. Trent Alexander-Arnold got himself his first assist of the season along with 3 bonus points and a clean sheet, earning himself a very tidy 12 points. Maybe we need to look at Trent for future captaincy options? The vote this week is for the transfers and after keeping hold of the free transfer from last week, a massive change to the team structure can be made. Choose what happens in the vote below!
