Dare To Dream – Racing Blog – 21st – 27th June

Welcome back to our weekly racing blog! Hopefully you all enjoyed Royal Ascot 2021!

It was fantastic to see spectators allowed back in the masses, and hopefully it’ll become a regular occurrence once again.

Despite Royal Ascot, a number of our owners enjoyed a beautiful summers evening at Brighton on Tuesday.

Pink Flamingo just seems to have slightly lost interest in going past horses. Her ability is clear for all to see, and tanks up on the bridle, but just doesn’t seem to want to pass horses.

She came 5th in a race where our trainer Michael Attwater also had the winner in Big Time Maybe, which was great to see.

The race after saw our 2YO gelding Nordic Glory come 4th, but impressed massively.

His speed was phenomenal, and he only has one pace – fast. Our lad was around 4 lengths clear a furlong out, and didn’t quite last the 6f. We’ll drop him back to 5f and hopefully he can get a win very soon.

Thursday saw Minhaaj run at Chelmsford. She ran a nice enough race to come 4th, with the market leaders both running strong races, and undoubtably nice horses.

She’s been doing everything right and hopefully will get her head in front again in the near future.

Currently, no entries for Dare To Dream this week, but this may change.

Unfortunately the weather has gone against most of our horses, with not many of them liking soft ground.

The week after however, if the weather improves, most of our horses are ready and raring to run!

We hope you all have a good week, and will see you all trackside again soon!
