Dare To Dream – Racing Blog – 17th – 23rd May

We have a winner!

Concierge absolutely stormed home to win the valuable Casumo Best Odds Handicap at Newbury on Friday.

His odds of 11/1 did shock us. We thought he’d be in the top few, but it would be a tough race to win, however the boy did us all proud and came from last to first to win by a short head.

After his excellent performance, we aim to take him to Epsom on Derby Day all being well.

Minhaaj ran at Newmarket a day later, and didn’t quite handle the undulating track. We will find another race at another course for her in the near future.

Vandad ran a stormer at Lingfield on Monday, to come 2nd on his first run in Dare To Dream colours. Pink Flamingo needed the run, and we look forward to seeing her throughout the summer.

Three runners for Dare To Dream this week, are as follows;

Wednesday 19th May – 3.00 Yarmouth – Fujaira King

We’ve decided to give Fujaira King another go over a mile at Yarmouth. He showed us enough last week to tempt us to give him another go. Hopefully a switch to turf will rejuvenate him, and if he can get his mojo back, he should be bang there.

Trainers Notes;

Fujaira King ran a much better race last week at Lingfield, so we’ve stepped him up to a mile and see how it goes.

Thursday 20th May – 8.10 Chelmsford – Something Lucky

Our consistent lad Something Lucky goes to Chelmsford on Thursday evening. He’s slipped down the handicap and is currently sat on a handy mark. Hopefully he can keep up his consistency and go very close.

Trainers Notes;

Lucky has been running well without winning lately. Hopefully he can finally get his head back in front here.

Friday 21st May – 4.45 Bath – Street Parade

Our final runner of the week sees Street Parade head up to Brighton over 5f.

A lot like Something Lucky, he’s been running consistently without winning. We all hope his time will come soon, and a lot of people who have put effort into this horse will be overjoyed!

Trainers Notes;

Street Parade has been running well lately, and hopefully he can go well again at Bath. He’s so deserving of a win, and it’ll be special when it does come.

From Sales Ring to Racecourse

Physics is now a week or two off his first run for Attwater Racing and Dare To Dream.

Many owners were down at Epsom to see him on the gallops on Saturday morning.

He’s in excellent form at home, and we’re really looking forward to seeing him on a track very soon!

As always, best of luck to all of our owners over the next week. Hopefully another winner isn’t too far away!
