3 Questions… With Linvoy Primus

3 Questions is back! Apologies for the lack of content!

We’re back with a bang too. Another iconic player from my childhood. Linvoy Primus is a large as life character who you’ll likely remember from his time at Portsmouth.

Besides from Portsmouth, Primus plied his trade at Barnet, Reading and also Charlton.

During his illustrious career, Linvoy Primus played a total of 487 games in the English leagues, scoring 16 goals.

Since retiring from the game, he’s done numerous charity walks and events, and was even awarded an MBE in 2015!

Let’s get to the questions!!

While growing up, did you ever collect football cards or stickers?

Yes I used to collect the Panini stickers! I don’t think I ever managed to complete a book though.

Have you ever owned a trading card of yourself?

Not personally, but my children did, and they managed to do better than me and complete the book!

The best part of being a professional footballer?

Every time you train and play, you want to win and beat your opponent. I loved the competitiveness.

It’s also a fantastic way to stay fit and healthy!

A huge thank you to Linvoy for answering my questions, and signing a few cards for my collections!

Stay tuned for next week’s!
