The. Same. Old. Browns.
Not anymore Juju, not anymore.
Firstly THANK YOU Kevin Stefanski. Thank you for bringing hope and success back to Cleveland. Thank you for believing in a team that hasn’t had much to smile about in recent years. Thank you for putting faith in your players, who needed a coach like yourself. Thank you from not only Browns fans, but from players, coaches, and everyone involved in the whole franchise.
Kevin Stefanski is officially 2020 NFL Coach Of The Year, incase you couldn’t tell by the title.. and at just 38, Coach Stefanski is in just his first year of being a head coach. After 14 years, and 6 different job roles, Stefanski came to the Browns from Minnesota, where the Vikings spoke very highly of him, and let him leave with their blessing.
With a regular season of 11-5, Coach Stefanski led the Browns to their first playoff run since 2002. For the first playoff game, Stefanski had in fact tested positive for COVID-19, meaning he couldn’t be on the sidelines for the game at the Pittsburgh Steelers, and had to watch the nail biting game from his basement. This didn’t bother Stefanski or the Browns.
Over the strange year which was 2020, Stefanski used Zoom to his advantage. With most team meetings and bonding sessions being held interactively, there wasn’t much interruption despite the Head Coach being in isolation. With just a computer, notebook and phone, Stefanski led the Browns to a first playoff win in 26 years.
Despite falling short to the Kansas City Chiefs, Stefanski and his new look Browns can hold their heads up high, proving many people wrong. This side is exciting. I’m proud to be a Browns fan and I have more hope than I’ve ever had supporting this franchise.
Congratulations Kevin Stefanski. Us Dawgs salute you!
