Pittsburgh Steelers-Tennessee Titans game postponed until Monday or Tuesday!
As COVID continues to be prevalent within society, the ‘bubbles’ in the sporting world are not as protected as they may think they are.
The Titans have become the first NFL team during the season to have positive results, that have had a detrimental knock on affect with other teams. The Titans had 3 players and 5 staff test positive after their squeaky bum time narrow victory over the Vikings last Sunday. As a result the Vikings have also suspended in person team activities while further testing takes place.
The NFL have therefore taken the decision that the Pittsburgh Steelers-Tennessee Titans game postponed until Monday or Tuesday!
This will not come as a shock to most people given the current world situation and if anything, is vindicating the players that chose to opt out due to health. There were many ‘haters’ at the beginning of the season that were calling out players who had decided not to play, with some big names stepping aside.
Lets hope that all of the players are well and even though it may be frustrating, moving the game is definitely the best course of action – ultimately not putting the entire NFL season in jeopardy. That’s if ‘fans’ are watching it anyway and not deciding to ‘boycott’ the NFL due to not liking players standing, kneeling, squatting, cartwheeling, doing the worm or back flipping *eye roll*. The players simply can’t do the right thing. AND while we are here, if you get LUCKY enough to get into a stadium at the minute, don’t be a complete and utter douchebag and boo the players. Get a life. Rant over.
