Per Ian Rapoport Dallas Cowboys Running Back, Ezekiel Elliot, is one of 4 players from the Texans and Cowboys to have tested positive for Covid-19. The report suggests that he’s tested positive within the last week and at the minute he’s feeling good.
By the sounds of it none of the infected players were in their team facilities which is good news, but it does highlight the importance of teams making sure that their corona protocols are being followed to the letter.
The state of Texas has been opening up over the last couple of weeks and last weekend posted their highest number of hospitalised cases, per CBS News. This seems irrelevant to the Texas Gov. Greg Abbott who is pressing ahead with getting Phase 3 of his plan in motion.
We wish Zeke a speedy recovery.
